Selection of Candidates
Admissions decisions are based on a careful review of a candidate's completed application, credentials, supporting documents and appropriateness for the degree program. Applicants for graduate degree programs must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a competitive grade point average.
Hebrew College admits qualified students without regard to age, sex, religion, disability, race, color or national origin. An application for financial aid does not in any way affect a candidate's application for admission.

The interview is an essential and required part of the application process for all
Hebrew College graduate degree programs. This is an opportunity for us to get to
know you better; for you to visit the campus, sit in on classes and meet students;

Applicants for graduate certificate programs must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and a competitive grade point average. The following certificate programs do not require a bachelor's degree: Early Childhood Jewish Education, Jewish Special Education, Jewish Sacred Music and Jewish Music Education.

Hebrew College accepts transfer credit from accredited educational institutions in
the U.S. and from academically recognized schools and colleges abroad. Applicants
wishing to transfer credit from foreign colleges or universities must have their
transcripts professionally translated from a foreign language and/or have them evaluated
by an agency specializing in translating foreign credits into the American semester-
No college, including Hebrew College, is required to accept for transfer any credits presented on other college’s transcripts. Each institution has the right and responsibility to judge and decide which credits and how many credits will or will not be accepted. Additionally, no college, including Hebrew College, can guarantee that any or all credits shown on its transcript will be accepted by another institution.
