Drawn by the wafting aroma of homemade soup, faculty members, staff and students gathered for lunch in the Alumni Dining Hall on April 8, marking the welcome return, after over 15 years, of full food service at Hebrew College. The 96-seat space offers airy views and an outdoor patio, lending the feeling of a café.

Open to the public, the dining hall features a glatt kosher menu of meat and dairy foods offered on alternating days, prepared by Neil Morris and Gail Goodman of NRM Catering. This fall, NRM will introduce a line of gourmet sandwiches to the menu as well as expand its current offerings of fresh-cooked entrées and salads. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, the Alumni Dining Hall is open Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Fridays.
