Throughout the Torah, there are places the people of Israel have constructed that have become holy places for the community to gather and hear the word of God. What does it mean to build a place for the presence of God and what does it mean to inhabit such places as a sacred community dedicated to God? We will study selected passages that will guide us in our exploration of this powerful set of teachings in our Torah and what it might mean for our lives today.
Rabbi Alan Ullman holds rabbinic ordination from Hebrew Union College. He travels throughout New England teaching Torah as a spiritual path.
