Anthropology
Anthropological Index Online: Based on the journal holdings of The Anthropology Library at The British Museum going back to 1957, this index includes periodicals in all branches of anthropology from many academic institutions and publishers around the world.
JSTOR Arts & Sciences III Collection
Focused on the arts and humanities, JSTOR Arts & Sciences III Collection contains 150 journals, which include important titles in Jewish studies, religion, philosophy and women's studies. JSTOR offers researchers the ability to retrieve searchable images of journals as they were originally designed. [Because it is an archival collection which often includes the first volume ever printed, there is a delay of 3-5 years between the current issue and the issue available in JSTOR.] Click here for the complete title list.

Biblical Archaeology Society Online Archive: Studies and reports illuminate the use of archaeological methods to assess the historicity of biblical texts, and all biblical references are linked to the scriptural text.
German Language
Compact Memory-Internetarchiv jüdischer Periodika (in German): Compact Memory offers searchable digitalized versions of dozens of German-Jewish journals and newspapers from the 18th through 20th centuries.
Jewish Studies/Religion and Theology
ATLAS Religion Database: The American Theological Library Association's ATLAS database includes thousands of citations and full-text articles from a wide variety of theological and religious journals, including a comprehensive "scripture reference" index.EBSCOhost Electronic Journals Service This database allows you to perform combined searches in more than three dozen Jewish theological and educational e-journals.
Encyclopædia Judaica:
The completely updated online version of the classic, authoritative Encyclopædia Judaica contains more than 21,000 articles as well as maps, tables, photos and over 30,000 new bibliographical listings.
Index to Jewish Periodicals: A comprehensive guide to articles, book reviews, feature stories, and other Judaic-related content in English, appearing in more than 170 periodicals devoted to Jewish affairs.
Jewish Encyclopedia The 12-volume Jewish Encyclopedia was originally published between 1901-1906, and its online version contains more than 15,000 original unedited articles and illustrations. (Although its content is historically valuable it does not cover post-1906 events and developments.)

Mechon Mamre: Online Resources for Learning Torah: This online database offers free access to the texts of the Torah, Nevi'im, Ketuvim (in Hebrew, Aramaic, English and parallel Hebrew and English); Rambam's Mishneh Torah (in Hebrew); Mishnah, Tosefta, Talmud Yerushalmi, and Talmud Bavli (in Hebrew).
ProQuest Religion: ProQuest covers more than 120 major journals in the field of theology, many since 1996. ProQuest Religion is a comprehensive source for religious news and commentary, and is completely searchable through a combined search across all journals. With most of its articles in full text, ProQuest Religion is designed to meet the research needs of both theological and general academic programs.

RAMBI: RAMBI is an index of articles in various fields of Jewish studies. Citations listed in RAMBI are compiled from thousands of periodicals and from collections of articles in English, Hebrew, Yiddish and European languages, compiled mainly from the holdings of the Jewish National and University Library. Multi-Disciplinary
DOAJ: The Directory of Open Access Journals includes many full-text, quality-controlled scholarly journals. The hundreds of journals included in the directory cover the areas of religion, philosophy, social sciences, gender studies, education, anthropology and more.
Expanded Academic ASAP: This database includes articles in many scholarly journals, news magazines and newspapers, many with full text and images. This database encompasses a range of academic disciplines, from the arts and humanities to social sciences, science and technology. (Part of the InfoTrac group of databases.)

LexisNexis Academic: LexisNexis provides searchable access to a comprehensive spectrum of full-text information from over 5,600 news, business, legal, medical, and reference sources.
OCLC FirstSearch: OCLC provides instant online access to "WorldCat," the OCLC catalog of books, web resources and other material in libraries around the world.
Music
Dartmouth Jewish Sound Archive: The Dartmouth Jewish Sound Archive offers thousands of searchable tracks of Jewish music and humor, including Hebrew College's extensive LP collection, which has been digitized and included in the Archive. (QuickTime Music Player must be installed.)

Naxos Online Music Library: Naxos Online (including the Milken Archive of American Jewish Music) offers continual access to thousands of musical tracks in classical, jazz, folk, blues and world music. The Milken Archive of American Jewish Music consists of hundreds of cantorial, klezmer, Hasidic, Sephardic and Yiddish classics.

ELECTRONIC BOOKS
Ebrary: Ebrary is a fully searchable database containing over 20,000 online books in the Humanities, Social & Behavioral Sciences, Economics and other fields from over 150 leading academic publishers. You can read from the convenience of any Internet-enabled computer (ebrary reader software must first be downloaded and installed.) For multiple ways of searching for and within each book, you can download the "Ebrary Patron User's Guide."
History E-Book Project: The History E-Book Project is a continually growing database of hundreds of full-text books of major importance to historical studies, with concentrations in American, European, Middle Eastern, and Comparative World history.
NetLibrary: This database enables you to search and view the full text of more than 6,700 eBooks. With any selected book, you can read through the content page by page or search within the full text for particular topics or keywords. Plus, if you set up your own free account, you can use additional features such as creating a list of titles for quick review or making notes in individual titles for future reference.

Jerusalem Post Online: The online version of the Jerusalem Post includes all articles and editorial supplements from 1990 onward, as well as the Weekend Magazine, Time Out, Festivals, Books and Money sections. Provides a powerful search engine which includes keyword, date and editorial section searches (content updated every three months). LexisNexis Academic provides searchable access to a comprehensive spectrum of full-text information from over 5,600 news, business, legal, medical, and reference sources.

NewsDirectory.com: NewsDirectory.com is a directory of thousands of online English-language newspaper and magazine sites searchable by topic and geographic region. Jewish sites include links to Tikkun, Forward, Jewish Press, Hadassah and many others.
OnlineNewspapers.com: At this web site you will find Israeli newspapers including Ha'Aretz, Jerusalem Post, Ye'diot Achronot, Ma'ariv and more. Find current information on Israeli politics, events, business and entertainment in English, Hebrew and Russian.

General Reference Center Gold: A website that covers current events, popular culture, business and industry coverage, the arts and sciences, sports, hobbies and more. It includes articles from reference books and periodicals, many with full text and images. (Part of the InfoTrac group of databases.)
Rav-Milim Dictionary: Rav-Milim is a comprehensive Hebrew-English Dictionary. Type in a Hebrew word (using a screen keyboard) in any form, and detailed linguistic information is displayed, including all forms of the Hebrew word with English translations, synonyms and a list of idioms and phrases (with English translations), a listing of rhyming words and a grammatical analysis . For a Hebrew translation, simply type in the English word.
World Book Online: World Book Online offers more than 25,000 encyclopedia articles suited to the educational level of users through grade 12. It also offers an interactive atlas with maps linking directly to articles, 1,800 tables covering a wide array of facts, plus audio clips, animations and a Spanish-language encyclopedia.
