What Is Jewish Music?
Segment 1 looks at the question, What is Jewish music? and by extension, Who is a Jewish composer?
It considers issues of genre, geography, musical traditions and the scope of our investigation (i.e., why we are not considering songwriters or Jewish composers who did not compose music with explicitly Jewish content).
